Alfredo Bini has found his own personal form of expression in social reportage photography.

His work includes “Water and Land in Sahel” and “Transmigrations”.
“Water and Land in Sahel”, (2007-2008) won the title of "Runner-Up" in the "Travel Photo Of The Year” UK, and gained 2nd place in the IPA Awards (NYC) as well as 2 mentions of honour. In the Biennial Juried Photography Show at the Edward Hopper House Museum of NY it won the Silver Award of Excellence.

“Transmigrations” (2009-2010) was published by leading media such as Corriere della Sera Magazine, BBC, The New York Times, El Pais, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, Avvenire, Il Manifesto, RaiNews24. It was featured in the academic journal "African and Black Diaspora”, published by Taylor & Francis; it gained 2nd place in several photojournalism competitions: PX3-Prix de la Photographie Paris, Fotoweek DC Washington, the “Bruce Chatwin” award in Genova, and received 3 mentions of honour at the IPA Awards (NYC). March 2011, it gained the Days Japan Readers Award.

He regularly takes part in festival, workshop, and cultural initiative as a speaker. His work has been exhibited in venues such as the Edward Hopper House Museum (NY), the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, the Espace Dupon in Paris. He has been represented by the Cosmos agency (Paris) since 2010.
